Eligibility Criteria

  1. Study Requirements:

    • Study in an English-medium institution in Australia for a minimum of 2 years.
    • Course duration must span at least 16 calendar months while holding a valid student visa.
    • Course must be registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students).
  2. English Language Proficiency:

    • Must achieve an IELTS score of at least 6.0 in all four components (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) or an equivalent score in other approved English tests.
  3. Visa History:

    • Applicants must have held an eligible student visa applied for after November 5, 2011, with Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) compliance.
  4. Skill Assessment (Graduate Work Stream Only):

    • Applicants under this stream must undergo a skills assessment for occupations listed on the Skilled Occupation List.

  • Temporary Visa:
    Both the Post-Study Work Visa and Temporary Graduate Visa are temporary. They cannot be renewed or converted directly into permanent residency.
