College History
Since 1982 the Commercial Arts Training College has earned a fi ne reputation in providing industry with well trained graduates.
But more importantly, we have enjoyed a high rate of success in creating opportunities for students to excel in their chosen career.
We are proud of our high employment success rate which sees most of our students gaining work (with a number of students being employed prior to the completion of
their course), or going on to further education.
There are a multitude of opportunities for employment, and with the right training you could be employed in the exciting industry of your choice.
Recognition of prior learning
If you have completed another related course or if you have previously worked in a related industry, you may be eligible to receive Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
What RPL means is that you are able to gain credits towards the course you are enrolling in, therefore your course will take you less time to complete as you will not need to re-learn skills you already have.
How do you apply for RPL?
You need to contact our student service and we will arrange everything for you.
You will need to bring the following with you:
- Any Certifi cates / Qualifi cations of previous related study
- Examples of work completed or a portfolio if you have one
- Letters from previous or current employers ( if applicable ), which state the tasks that you regularly undertook or currently undertake in your position RPL is granted at the discretion of the Commercial Arts Training College.
