Bachelor of Dance Performance

TAFE SA offers an advanced diploma of arts and a bachelor of dance performance:

Our lives are constantly enriched by the creative, challenging and stimulating world of performance, whether it be live entertainment, film, television or community arts. Acting and dance graduates work across a wide range of performance roles, media and locations.

Both courses are profoundly performance based. The thrust is professional training with widely experienced artists/teachers, and guest choreographers and directors from the highest echelons of the profession. Courses are presented that mirror professional industry practice.

Students are empowered and engaged to develop informed professional attitudes and practices. Students are guided and supported to achieve individual goals so that every student has the opportunity to successfully enter the professional performance space. Graduates of these courses will be able to work in the dance and acting fields of performing arts.

The Bachelor of Dance Performance has an excellent reputation based on the success of many graduates who are employed by major companies in South Australia, Australia and overseas.
