Adelaide Secondary School of English (ASSOE) provides intensive English programs for students from non-English speaking backgrounds. English is taught through a range of subjects including English as a Second Language (ESL), Society
and Environment, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education.
Students are given the opportunity to settle into Australian society before their transition to mainstream high schools. The school is located approximately 5 kilometres west of the city of Adelaide. The central location enables students requiring an intensive English program to travel from all over Adelaide to attend the school.
